Juan Howard joined the team at Pete’s as a server back in the summer of 2021 after six years at the Theater District’s all vegan restaurant, PS Kitchen.  At Pete’s Juan was drawn to the historic bar. After all, it was his love of cocktails, rare bourbons, craft tequilas and everything old school that had driven him to a career at Pete’s in the first place. While working as a server he studied cocktail books and learned all he could from our experienced bartenders.  He became well versed in craft liquors, cocktail making and speakeasy culture.  Juan’s diligent interest convinced us to give him a chance as the daytime bartender. Since joining the team, Juan and his partner Ellie, have welcomed twin boys Jonah and Samson and just this year in January, their third son Ronan.
